Director's Note - Tony Hogan passed away in 2006. It was from a small complaint which was left untreated, but it was his time to go. Tony was a wonderful person with a very special gift.

In many ways the gift itself overpowered him - when the documentary and book came out, he was over-run with requests to see him. Many thousands of letters and phone calls left him feeling pulled this way and that.

Eventually, of course, there was a backlash. Some local radio people had a go at him and others were queuing up as well. It was very depressing and showed a huge lack of awareness. Tony was never into healing for money or fame; his gift was there to help others and he never abused that gift.

We collaborated closely on the film. I also helped him with his book - a remarkable achievement because he had little schooling as a youngster. He wrote clearly and movingly. I cherish the time spent in his company.
